Office Administrator, Donor Services and PA
Mandy started working in the MAFNZ office in June 2015. Her responsibilities include providing support and assistance to donors and field staff, particularly in the area of donations and queries. Mandy also takes care of running the office organising mail outs and promotional events.
Mandy was born in Murupara, a small town the Bay of Plenty, to British parents who had emigrated to NZ in 1960 as teachers. When she was seven the family moved to Auckland where she has lived ever since. Mandy became a Christian in her teens through friends from school inviting her to church and youth events. In her early career Mandy worked in Baptist Youth Ministries, YWAM, Christian schools and the local church, as well as several large companies. These positions helped Mandy develop her administrations skills, mixed with her love for people. Mandy recently married Warren, after being widowed for 6 years and between them have two children. Warren is very supportive of Mandy’s role with MAF and is a keen volunteer whenever the office needs an extra pair of hands.
Mandy has a passion for travel and is excited about bringing God’s love to all parts of the world. Mandy would like to visit South America and parts of Europe, where she has never been. She enjoys flying in jet planes—but not so much a Cessna!
