Serving as Residential House Managers, PNG
Leigh was born in Napier and Inneke in South Africa, and they met in South Africa. Leigh is a qualified electrician and a refrigeration mechanic and has managed his own business for the past four years. Inneke is a physiotherapist, Mum and has helped with administration in the business. This experience has enabled them to work together as a strong team and overcome the challenges of finding practical solutions to unexpected situations. They have three children Cameron, Levi and Mikaela.
They both have a heart to serve God and have always dreamed about serving on the mission field, especially where there is a specific need to support a Christian organisation working in the community. They have both served in children’s ministry and, when hosting an overseas exchange student, realised that they had a heart for youth.
They will be serving in Ukarumpa in PNG as Residential House Managers in a hostel for children who attend the International School. Our key responsibilities will be nurturing, guiding and encouraging them in their everyday lives and spiritual walk with God. They are excited to have this opportunity to partner with MAF.
