Residential Housing Managers | PNG
MAF is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential House Manager/s to join the team managing a boarding-type home located at Ukarumpa. This is a vital role for our Program as you will be providing interim parental care for children between the ages of 12 to 17 years whose parents work in various locations serving in PNG.
The Residential House Manager/s will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable living environment for our student boarders who call the residential house, their home. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a passion for serving and caring for young people.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing a safe and supportive environment.

Creating menus and obtaining food supplies using the most efficient source with limited resources and minimizing waste.
Preparing and providing three meals a day plus snacks.
Managing, directing and working alongside national staff in-house.Evaluating and reporting any maintenance needs and ensuring that the home is kept in good condition.
Supervising and supporting regular homework and study activities.
Assisting with the delivery of a regular program of weekend and night activities to enrich the personal, social and cultural development of students.

As the Regional Director Asia Pacific for MAFI, you will play a crucial role in our mission to reach the isolated communities of the Asia Pacific with the love of Christ. Responsibilities
You will be assisting in the preparation of the programme's annual financial plan, based on the tactical plans of the programme. Day to day you will be completing the financial monthly accounts including re-forecasts to the end of the year, overseeing the recording of financial transactions and reviewing month end reconciliations. Your attention to detail will be outstanding, with a methodical approach to your work you will also be required to be organised in your work habits. You will be required to lead a small team in the finance department. The role will require some travel to remote bases to conduct internal audits along with spending time in both offices.
